REMIXING CONTENT

  1. I understand "remixing content" to mean changing it from its original state.
  2. In other words, by removing or adding material to a form of media you can create something new. Photos, songs, artwork, and videos can all be remixed.
  3. An example of "remixing content" would be songs that are remixed. Lot's of popular songs get remixed all the time. People change the beats, speed them up, or add parts of other song to them and that changes the original song.
  4. The purpose of the assignment is to show you how popular remix culture is and the impact it has on business, society, and culture.
  5. The key question at the heart of the assignment is "how can you remix the content that you share?"

  1. I am questioning the clarity of your statement "In other words, by removing or adding material to a form of media you can create something new. Photos, songs, artwork, and videos can all be remixed." Can you add a bit more detail of how media can be altered? Give examples.
