What is a social media strategy?
Social media strategies are way to help you run successful social media accounts. There are tons of different ones like, contributing meaningfully, keeping it real, being respectful and staying current with the trends. They are also strategies that will help you create a thoughtful profile and make yourself memorable. For example, I know a lot of makeup artist on Youtube use these strategies, they are constantly posting new content and giving honest reviews of products, they're usually really on top of the trends too.
What is the purpose of a social media strategy?
The purpose of social media strategies are to help you build successful account. By following these rules you can increase your chance of gaining followers and building your brand. For example, Jeffree Star uses some of these strategies and he is the highest earning beauty Youtuber.
The purpose of the assignment is teach you about social media strategies.
The key question at the heart of the assignment is "now that you know some of the strategies will you use them?"

    I am questioning the precision of your statement "By following these rules you can increase your chance of gaining followers and building your brand." What rules do we need to follow? What if we don't get a lot of followers despite following these rules?

I feel like it would be difficult to completely eliminate fake news. You would have to have someone or a system monitoring and censoring everything, all the social media networks and websites. I think it'll be impossible for a single person to do. It might work with a big group of people but you would have to make sure these people are unbiased. If there where a machine or program that can fact check things so it's easier to sort whats real and what's fake, it could work.
